Form Fit is truly a one size plug solution. In its dry state, the plug measures 3.0 mm in diameter by 3.0 mm long. Form Fit easily slides into the punctal cavity. The need for punctal measurement has been eliminated. Once inserted into the canaliculus, Form Fit hydrates into a gelatinous material over a 10 minute period. As it hydrates, Form Fit increases in size until it completely fills the vertical canalicular cavity.
The Form Fit is made from a hydrogel material that is safe and biocompatible. There is no foreign body sensation and the plug can easily be removed via irrigation of the tear duct. Form Fit is preloaded and sterile.
